Financial Manager

Requirements:

• BCom finance with CTA and completed articles.
• Chartered accountant (CA(SA)) qualification (advantageous).
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in financial management
• 5+ years’ experience in staff management.
• Experience within higher education and education technology would be beneficial.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with audits, compliance, and risk management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft AX.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial reporting and cash flow management strategies.
• Prepare and oversee monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Analyse financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
• Monitor financial performance and manage budget variances.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage and lead finance team, including performance management and recruitment.
• Oversee financial systems and drive process improvements.
• Manage B-BBEE financial compliance and reporting.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and analysis.
