Joburg Tourism wins silver at ITFFA 2026

Joburg Tourism has secured a Silver Certificate at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) 2026 for its destination brand film, Welcome2Joburg – It’s where you want to be!. The award was presented at a ceremony held on 5 June at The Bannister Hotel in Braamfontein.

The film was selected as a finalist from 438 entries across 47 countries, highlighting Johannesburg’s growing global appeal. Showcasing the city’s energy, diversity and cultural vibrancy, the film positions Joburg as more than a destination, but an experience driven by its people.
