Starting in 2022, Stride has been especially created to connect female founders whose organisations have a positive, scalable impact on people, the environment and the world – and who need support for their success and growth.
“Multiple studies have shown that while women have been hardest hit by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, they are critical to stimulate the economy, reduce poverty and create jobs,” explains Jozihub’s Samantha Manclark.
“Programmes that work to advance women’s businesses or organisations therefore have a crucial role to play, which is why we are launching Stride as part of Jozihub’s commitment to creating sustainable and positive change in society. We’re greatly looking forward to working with the first group of women through Stride.”Stride is based around four key areas:#Roadmapping
held monthly with each founder to identify opportunities and challenges and to fine-tune a plan for growth. #Connections
are bi-monthly gatherings for Stride participants to connect and exchange successes, experiences, challenges and learnings. #Amplification
will assist in providing guidance for marketing, PR and social media. #Wellbeing
provides guidance for a positive, healthy lifestyle and the necessary changes that will result in better physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Stride is an initiative of JoziHub, A Google for Entrepreneurs partner. About JoziHub
Jozihub is a community of entrepreneurs. Originally started in Johannesburg, Jozihub works across South Africa to support engagement between entrepreneurs, funders, corporates, NGOs and government to help foster innovation and growth, and to provide access to opportunity. Jozihub’s mission is to help entrepreneurs start, build, grow and succeed. The dire unemployment rate in South Africa means that success is our impact on the number of businesses started, the growth of the businesses we engage and the number of people they employ or whose lives they positively impact.
