TFG (The Foschini Group) then decided to support this great initiative by matching Smile FM’s target by donating 9,040 TFG blankets towards this campaign! The blankets were handed over to The Haven Night Shelter on Friday, 27 May, together with Smile FM’s donation.
In partnership with TFG’s local manufacturing arm, Prestige Clothing, TFG has trained and upskilled previously unemployed individuals to make these blankets as part of their skills training and development to aid in disaster relief across South Africa.
Proving once again that doing good never goes out of fashion!
