Trevor will be the star of the 10:00pm to 01:00am weekdays show. As the city eases out of one day and prepares itself for a brand new one; Trevor Williams touches Cape Town's soul through the midnight hours from Monday to Thursday. With humour and unstoppable optimism, he presents an intimate selection of music to prepare listeners for another Cape Town day.
Born in Wentworth in Durban, his early life will sound very familiar to many Capetonians: managing to avoid the worst elements of the street gangs, he channelled his energy into the arts - establishing a reputation as both a rapper and a DJ. At just 16 years old, Trevor was the first black South African to win a South African DJ Championship.
A musical career with its fair share of ups and downs followed, before he landed a slot on P4 Radio in Durban co-hosting their morning show. He continued his on-air career with East Coast Radio until 2009, when he accepted the invitation to become part of the Heart family. His career in the radio industry has afforded Trevor the opportunity to rub shoulders with many local and international celebrities the likes of Usher, Ronan Keating, Shane Ward, Mafikizolo and many more.
Bizarrely, Trevor's favourite day is Monday - but his bubbly optimism extends to his other passions like music production, and will get you smiling whenever he's on air.
