Milpark Business School at SABSA Business Schools Expo

Milpark Business School will be participating in the annual business schools expo on Thursday 25th August at the Sandton Convention Centre. Milpark will have academic staff at hand to discuss the MBA and other management qualifications.

Milpark's qualifications range from NQF level 5 to the MBA on NQF level 8. All Higher Education (HE) qualifications are accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC) of the Council of Higher Education (CHE). Three faculties - Management and Leadership, Banking and Financial Planning and Insurance - provide education in their areas of specialisation.

The Milpark MBA will be particularly highlighted at the expo. The programme is designed to produce graduates with strategic and general management skills, equipped to become South Africa's future business leaders. Three elective modules, including Entrepreneurship, form part of the MBA programme which can be completed either via contact learning or distance learning.

Milpark's mini-event will feature a presentation developed by a group of MBA students and delivered to the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley where they participated in the finals of the Global Social Venture Competition. They will start with the Entrepreneurship module itself, then talk about the competition's Executive Summary round, the Regional Finals at the Indian School of Business, and the Global Finals at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley. Share and learn from their experience and find out what it means to be a Milpark MBA student.

Milpark Business School also offers standardised or customised short programmes which are typically delivered over three to five days or three months on a part-time basis with classes on a Saturday. More information about these programmes, will be available at the expo and a free short course.

Milpark Business School appreciates the important role it has to play in management education and believes that it can contribute to creating and shaping future leaders of business and industry in South Africa.
