Hosted by African Fashion International, the event took in place in the Melrose Arch Piazza, Johannesburg from 5 to 7 March 2015.
As the leading South African digital signage solutions company, Moving Tactics Digital Impact's team designed and manufactured a specialist DigiPod, equipped with a touchscreen interface as well as removable green-screen and directional sound technology. Directional sound offers clients a wide range of functions, which can be altered and directed in accordance with client's specific requirements. This includes creating isolated sound zones on both horizontal and vertical axes.
Along with the Digipod, Moving Tactics also provided the hardware and installation services for the 2×2 HD Video Wall, as well as the designing and manufacturing a free-standing 42" LED Display with a custom housing.
Upon entering the venue, guests were directed to an upstairs area where the DigiPod was playing educational fashion-talk content. After this, they were escorted back downstairs to the VIP Marquee where the 42" Display was playing video content about the recently released Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG. To round off the experience, the 2×2 Video Wall allowed viewers to engage with high-resolution Mercedes Benz video content.
