366 Group signs historic partnership with South Africa's Openfield Marketing

The partnership will see 366 Cricket's world-class talent division link up with Openfield's ever-growing lineup of top-class cricket talent to further strengthen both companies in the market place.

As a result, 366 Group's list of talent - which is headlined by England's Alex Hales and Olly Stone - comes together with Openfield and South Africa's world-class Kagiso Rabada and budding star Thando Ntini. Rabada recently won the Purple Cap at this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Delhi Capitals and in the process, setting the record for reaching 50 IPL wickets in the shortest amount of matches.

Hales and Stone, meanwhile, have enjoyed a fruitful 2020 with Hales a leading light on the global franchise circuit and Stone with the England national team. Over the last four years, the pair have played a part in an England team that won a first Cricket World Cup and now sit in a commanding position atop the ICC World Rankings, occupying number one in both One-Day Internationals and T20 rankings.

James Cross, 366 Group's global head of cricket, said "We are delighted to be working formally with Openfield. From our early conversations, I knew this partnership was one that would be very beneficial for both parties. In a short space of time, we have developed an industry-leading cricket division, and the opportunity to work closely with Openfield Marketing and their talent only serves to strengthen that."

Seseki Itsweng, Openfield Marketing's managing firector, was equally excited to have partnered with 366 Group. "This partnership is a show of strength," Itsweng said.

"Two industry-leading agencies from across the world are coming together to form a powerhouse in the cricketing talent landscape. We are looking forward to exploring where the partnership can take us and our clients."

Both 366 Group and Openfield expressed their excitement regarding this coming together in a unique partnership that will redefine how global deals are done to the benefit of athletes.
