Crack a smile with the ABF Vital Support Fund

Join the ABF at Joe Parkers in Montecasino on the 19th October and laugh the night away whilst supporting its annual bursary fundraiser, which ensures that an advertising student has financial assistance during their second year.
"The Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) has provided the ABF with the funds it needs to purchase snacks for all of the guests on the evening," says Sharlene Vallance, ABF executive committee member. "This will assist us greatly as we will now be able to give even more back to a lucky student."

The function will give industry members the opportunity to network extensively with other media owners and agencies who support the ABF Vital Support Fund.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to get together and socialise. We need to keep in mind that education has been a topical issue in our media recently, with many sectors of society losing faith in the current system. It is really important that we, as an industry, support talented youngsters and give them an opportunity to make their mark," adds Vallance.

The bursary call for applications is soon to begin and the ABF is appealing to captains of industry to assist on the sub-committee to review them.

The programme for the evening, including the participating comedians, will be confirmed closer to the time. Book early! A table of ten is yours for a mere R1 500, which goes directly towards furthering the advertising education of someone in need. A cash bar will be available.
