Egg Films' cracking start to 2013

Egg Films has had a great start to 2013, with two second places at the Creative Circle Ad of the Year Awards; Clio, One Show, and MK Awards nominations; regular features on Shots; and a number of viral hits on YouTube.

Some of the highlights include 2013 Creative Circle Ad of the Year Awards, where Standard Bank Sh-boom, directed by Kim Geldenhuys for TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris, came second in the television commercial category. Bruno Bossi's photographs for FoxP2's Rediscover Dairy campaign were also awarded second in the Print category.

Sh-boom has further been shortlisted at The Clio Awards, for Best Music-Adapted, thanks to Robroy's infectious soundtrack. The film winners will be announced in New York on 29 April 2013.

Most recently, Terence Neale's Chicken Licken Orphanage ad for Net#work BBDO came second at the latest Creative Circle Ad of the Month Awards.

Egg Films is best known for their TV ads, but they do other things too, like music videos.

Terence is up for Best Music Video at The One Show for Die Antwoord - Baby's On Fire, which he co-directed with Ninja.

Baby's On Fire has already won the Jury Prize at m-v-f in Brazil in January 2013 and recently topped 11 million views on YouTube, while Jason Fialkov's Taxi Violence Unholy music video, starring Tanit Phoenix, was a finalist at The MK Awards for Best Rock Music Video.

Die Antwoord Fatty Boom Boom, which Terence also co-directed with Ninja, has over 10 million views on YouTube, while Egg Films Service's Coca-Cola Chase ad for Hungryman has over four million views and Molson The Canadians, which Kim directed for Rethink Toronto, has over 1.3 million views.
