P.S. Kim is back (wards)!

The beautiful new Kraft Foods Cadbury P.S. ad is Kim Geldenhuys' debut spot after returning to South Africa from a year in the US. Kim used his time in Tinseltown exploring all the features market had to offer, meeting producers, screenwriters and performance coaches. The knowledge he gained will not only benefit a possible future feature project, but his commercial work as well.
P.S. Kim is back (wards)!
P.S. tells a love story in reverse to demonstrate that there's a tale behind every bar. The idea was conceptualized by Ogilvy's creative team of Fran Luckin, Tseliso Rangake, Tracy-Lynn King, Georja Bunger and Head of TV Debbie Dannheisser.

"Everyone on the job - from crew to agency to post production - was so excited to have Kim back in South Africa and to be working with him, it allowed us to push the production as well as the creative process to the nth degree," said Egg Films Producer Rozanne Rocha-Gray.

A special mention should go to lead actor Pallance Dladla, who pulled out all the stops by doing all his own stuntwork and incurring a few cuts and bruises along the way.

Tim Pike's cinematography is supported by a beautiful track from James Blake and Bon Iver, while Kobus Loots' perceptive hand guided the edit.
