When the shirt hits the fans

South Africa's not just ready for 2010, we're bloody amped. This is the basic takeout of MetropolitanRepublic's latest commercial for 2010 sponsor MTN.
The spot, directed by Egg Films' Jason Fialkov, features all sorts of South Africans sporting T-shirts with various messages emblazoned on them. Creative team Pete Khoury, George Low and Jacques Gross took the very common practice of professional soccer players writing messages on shirts and showing them to camera, and extended it to the rest of South Africa with over 70 different shirts all with slogans that amount to the same point: Bring on 2010. Bring on the World. (Cue vuvuzela.)
