At Fundza, everything we do is to unlock the imagination required to create a better reality. We strive to do this every day by challenging people to greater levels of literacy, whilst making it more accessible and inspiring. Our mission is to improve the literacy levels of South Africa's youth by encouraging reading for pleasure, writing for meaning, and learning for life.

For over a decade, Fundza has told stories that have touched the hearts and minds of young people. The creation of exciting local content, written by South African writers, is one of the unique features of our data-free mobisite, fundza.mobi, as it enables youth to see themselves in the stories they read. This year we also made it easy for young South Africans to publish their works via #Lovewriting and we provide access to free learning via our courses.
