Journalism is not a crime...

After months of retrials and public protests, the Al Jazeera journalists jailed in Egypt have been sentenced to three years in prison. Mohammed Fahmy, Peter Greste and Baher Mohammed were accused of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. The outcome of the trial has resulted in global outcry towards the state of media freedom in the north African country.

Musa Msane says the introduction of the Service Design category at the Loeries this year was one good thing that came out of the awards. New job titles are creeping into the industry, especially in social media-related jobs. But is it wise to have young tech-savvy employees representing a brand online?
