Nigerian innovation hub to open in 2014

Reporting on Punch, Everest Amaefule says that International Business Machine's planned innovation centres to serve the West African market, will open in Nigeria in Q1 of 2014.

  • Punch: IBM plans innovation hub for Nigeria... According to the report, the president and chief executive officer of the information technology company, Virginaa Rometty, said the innovation centre "will help Nigeria to build its capacity in information and communications technology".

    The hub will aim to fuel innovation and creative ideas around how ICT can assist in solving challenges the country is currently facing.
