What business can learn from amapiano
Nice piece! Without joining the debate about when it originated or how you define it, I get the main point you are trying to make about how to listen to your customer.

What business can learn from amapiano
Amapiano has been around since 2016, its a sub genre, not a genre. Take it you were living in Orania until 2019?

What business can learn from amapiano
Been listening to amapiano since 2016, its a sub genre, not a genre. Take it you were living in Orania until 2019? "But if you consider yourself South African and you're still wondering what on earth it is, I really hope you're enjoying your life listening to Steve Hofmeyr in Orania." - seriously.

When good intentions go bad - an alcohol prohibition history lesson
Its a great pity that common sense isn't so common any more. It's clear that the government has another agenda here with the prohibition of cigarettes and alcohol, probably fueled by the strange bedfellows of organised crime and the "Temperance Society". RSA has had a massive alcohol problem for years which results in alcohol related hospital admissions of some 34 000 trauma cases per week. Compare that with the Covid-19 cases of infection after six or so weeks! There has been no meaningful attempts to curb binge drinking, drink driving offences or addressing the 60 000 unlicensed sales and distribution outlets in the country. That's where the problems lie and banning alcohol will simply drive the problem underground and deprive citizens of thousands of jobs and the treasury of billions of Rands in taxes. Address the problem and not the effects.

Surviving as a virtual SME in the time of Covid-19
Good article, thanks! One tiny thing is Miro. It is gotten more expensive recently, there are better online whiteboard programs like Deskle that can do more for less money.
