Funding women owned high potential enterprises in the sector value chain has potential to be an impactful way to foster increased participation and overall influence of women in the long term. However, this will rely on strong business development support and the bigger Oil and Gas companies can play a significant role in providing BDS services leveraging their extensive internal resources/capabilties, as well as facilitating market access.
A focus on funding female owned businesses within the Oil & Gas value chain certainly has potential for significant impact that can lead to not only greater participation but also greater influence by women in this sector. Strong business development would be key to facilating increased likelihood of sucess and the bigger companies can play a role in resource access and skills transfer
Please remove the article. This man does not deserve any recognition. He abuses women. Maybe write an article about that instead to enlighten the world on what a low class person he really is.
This man is a domestic violance abuser! Remove this man from all modelling agencies and serve justice. He deserves no spotlight and no recognition. The complete opposite of a role model!
Hi there. Please can you remove this article due to recent events. You may not have heard, however this man is a major domestic abuser and does not deserve any recognition aside from the fact that he is part of the Gender Based Violence issues in South Africa. He deserves no accolades and needs to be stripped of all titles. We will not stand for this and hopefully neither will bizcommunity.
It makes it a scheme because theyre trading without the necessary licenses and also because of what FXChoice brought forth. Why is that flying over your head?
To ensure success the thread on the road to NHI should embrace inclusivity. Bring all stakeholders into the fold, then balance out the needs of everyone on the inside, while putting the patient first and foremost.Too many of the current players are milking the system as can be witnessed by the obscene profits they generate - their monopolizing strengths will have to be dismantled unless we allow their vested interests to both set and drive the agenda.Sadly, once again, this will perpetuate the existing systemic inequalities.chronicfocus.site
Iam just going to skip on outsurance..cant believe that they are so ruthless and the video is sad but we see on one side ..so thanks but no thanks to oursurance ..hope the fix this wrong
It is absolutely unacceptable that Oursurance allow Katlego back on air as if this debacle never occurred. We understand that he worked hard to get where he is and that he is good at what he does but what he has done is not ok and by keeping him as an ambassador, we're telling society its ok and acceptable to cheat and abuse women. South Africa has numerous campaigns to fight against GBE and here we are trying to fight for one of the culprits. Its not sensible. People who are public figures are expected to uphold a calibre that is higher than the norm as not only do they become famous and create a fan base but they also become a role model to many and this is not something we can overlook or ignore in this regard. Let those who want to move their insurance do so, they not losing Katlego they losing a good service. It must be noted that nobody is irreplaceable.
Hi Jay, good analysis. However, I think that the dynamics are shifting a bit. There are numerous examples of bigger global brands opting to stick with the celebrities / influencers. We have seen the likes of Nike standing by Colin Kaepernick ( after he took the he "took knee" during the US national anthem and revoked by POTUS =. Nike went as far as doing the 'Dream Crazy' advert starring Kaepernick, which won an Emmy award. At late, the #bringbackKatlego online petition gaining momentum (so far 500,000 signatures just in two days of the campaign) with fans literally demanding both the SABC and Outsurance to reconsider their decisions and return Kat back on air and return the ads.
Sad situation but definitely one brands can learn from, people dont buy into the brand, they buy into what the brand represents!!!....and right now, Kathlego does not represent that
