The maize information guide is a mobile application which comprises a current collection of scientifically proven data on maize production, insect identification and disease management; weed and nematodes control.
ARC created the app with the goal of integrating agriculture and information technology that will assist commercial and smallholder farmers to increase their yields per hector and contribute to food security.
Maize is one of the top staple foods in South Africa and globally. Due to its affordability, it contributes significantly to food security and nutrition. Because of this, ARC continues to be committed to providing farmers and industry with technological solutions aimed at enhancing good quality food production.
