    Registration for the business-to-business travel trade show, WTM Africa 2019 is officially open. In partnership with the City of Cape Town, WTM Africa brings travel exhibitors, buyers, experts, media and stakeholders from across Africa together for three intensive days of meeting; networking, interacting - and learning - to drive the growth of the continental industry, globally.

    The Conference, Inspire, Destination and Travel Forward Theatres will once more host presentations and interactive sessions with global travel influencers, covering the topics that shape travel trends in the tourism industry.

    The WTM Responsible Tourism Conference will be led by Dr Harold Goodwin, MD of the Responsible Tourism Partnership and Emeritus Professor and Responsible Tourism Director at Manchester Metropolitan University.

    Speakers include:

    Appearing and hosting events and presentations across the other three venues are SAACI CEO Rudi van Deventer (Business Events Conference in partnership with IBTM Africa); mentor, business coach, consultant and strategist Alessandra Alonso (Women in Travel); former Ireland international rugby player and Talk Radio 702 host, John Robbie (SETE: Sports and Events Tourism Exchange); iambassador founder and CEO Keith Jenkins; Film & Event Media Publisher Lance Gibbons; iambassador CMO Nicholas Montemaggi and more.

    The Africa Investment Summit will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet with a number of local and international investors searching for investment opportunities in the travel and tourism sector across various countries in Africa.

    The WTM Africa Tourism Investors’ Summit will host keynote speakers from around the globe who will contribute their learnings, expertise, and unpack various investment opportunities Africa has to offer, not just in the travel and tourism sector, but also in lateral sectors that contribute to the industry.

    The WTM Buyers' Club continues to play an important role at WTM Africa, with tour operators, travel agents, wholesalers and private travel arrangers with purchasing power and a reputation for generating genuine business leads recognised by a distinctive badge and access to exclusive venues and sessions to maximise business opportunities.
