    The 2019 Global Youth Travel Awards are open for entry

    The Global Youth Travel Awards (GYTAs), which recognises exceptional performers in 14 fields of international youth travel, is now open for entry. The awards ceremony, which takes place during the World Youth and Student Travel Conference in Lisbon on 11 October 2019, is set to reward WYSE Travel Confederation members and other stakeholders in the youth, student and educational travel industry who make an impressive contribution to our industry.

    The Global Youth Travel Awards reward organisations in the youth, student and educational travel industry.

    This year the GYTAs will feature one new nominated award category - Best Sustainable Organisation.

    The nominated awards categories include the following:

    • Best Education Abroad Provider
    • Best Marketing Campaign
    • Best Social Responsibility Initiative
    • Best Social Space in a Hostel
    • Best Sustainable Organisation
    • Best Travel Safety Initiative
    • Best Travel Technology Product
    • Best Work Experience Provider
    • Extraordinary Experience
    • Outstanding Volunteer Project

    The 2019 GYTA winners will be announced Friday, 11 October 2019 during the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) in Lisbon.

    Entries for the awards will be evaluated by a panel of judges from the youth, student and educational travel industry. The deadline for submissions is 29 August 2019. The ceremony will be held in Sud Lisboa.
