Moloisane will take on this new role after serving as Optimi Group’s chief business development officer since late 2018.

As Optimi Classroom’s MD, Moloisane will seek to position and strengthen the division as an education partner of choice for teaching and learning across South Africa, as well as the SADC region.

Moloisane wants to ensure that educators, learners and institutions in South Africa can access Optimi Classroom’s quality education solutions and platforms in order to enhance and add value to their teaching and learning experiences.

Optimi Classroom provides its classroom and extra-classroom, teaching and learning solutions to more than 1,500 schools, reaching over 100,000 learners. Optimi Classroom also provides key learning solutions to tertiary institutions.

“Our fundamental belief in providing accessible learning solutions sets us apart. For us, access to quality education is a critical component, and we want to ensure that we deliver offerings that are widely available in South Africa, as well neighbouring countries, especially when it comes to factors such as cost, quality and the ease of use,” says Moloisane.

“Further to this, we aim to be a pivotal player that creates partnerships across private and public spaces in order to enhance the quality of education outcomes in the country,” Moloisane goes on to say.

Highly experienced

Before joining the Optimi Group in late 2018 as its CBDO, Moloisane worked for global auditing and consulting firm Deloitte where he successfully delivered on several strategy development and facilitation engagements.

He has previously carried out extensive work on business process re-engineering as well as advising on operating models. He also has extensive experience in strategy development and has worked on sales, marketing and business development strategies.

Moloisane started his studies with a BCom degree in marketing and communications at the University of Pretoria (UP), followed by a BCom (Hons) in business management and a masters in business leadership from Unisa.

He is armed with solid experience from a variety of industries ranging from ICT, food and beverages, petrochemical, packaging, construction and, today, education.
