Media muzzle: Kasrils issues warning

NEWSWATCH: Former intelligence minister Ronnie Kasrils has warned of "huge problems" should the proposed Protection of Information Bill be passed in its present form, reports IOL; the SABC has been accused of wasting money, according to Times Live; and M-Net has a new look, writes Channel24.

It's worse than that, however - many critics see the bill as little more than a means for what many perceive to be a corrupt administration to become even more corrupt, and less trustworthy.

  • Channel24: M-Net unveils new on-air look... As of today, M-Net has a new look with new music, but the blue ribbon logo has stayed. The new look was created by Clearwater.
