Toll roads - what motorists must do

Business Live warns that Gauteng motorists must either buy e-tags for their cars or have the new number plates fitted to comply with the introduction of toll roads around Gauteng that start operating in February next year.

Business Live quotes the South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) as saying that they have between now and February to register and open an e-toll account using the discounted e-tag system or be billed according to the number plate.

Business Live reports that people without tags or registered number plates will need to buy a Day Pass to use the roads.
