Melrose Arch hosts cash processing open day this week

On Tuesday 17 July 2012 and Wednesday, Melrose Arch will host the Bidvest company, Global Payment Technologies (GPT), in an open day to integrate 12 of its suppliers in an exhibit on the latest trends in cash processing. Recycling of cash in both bank branches and retail stores will demonstrate how cash utilisation and movement can be optimised.

The group will also exhibit the latest trends in POS solutions and mobile payments and how mobile phones can be used to transact. In addition, the gaming industry will find a host of innovative cash handling products on show.

"The Open Day will create a platform for our customers to interact with the world's leading manufacturers of cash processing equipment and POS payment solutions," says Wanda van Vuuren, sales and marketing director at GPT.

"It is necessary due to the rapid development in payment technologies and will showcase new technologies and turnkey solutions to all cash-related problems. Efficiency in cash management and cash recycling is our first priority."

Attendance is by invitation only. However, potential customers can contact the company to ask for an invitation - contact Andrea +27 (0)11 262 2814 or email az.oc.satinirt@aerdna. Customers will be able to place orders at the open day and, in most cases, delivery lead times will be short due to a wide range of equipment already being held in South Africa.

Trevor Chamberlain, CEO of GPT, adds, "We will also be launching six new products at the open day. Being at the forefront of providing technological cash and payment solutions means always being able to provide the market with the latest inventions and ensure alignment throughout the supply chain."
