Dr Christo Wiese Sunday Times wins Top 100 Business Leader of the Year & Lifetime Achiever Award

The annual Sunday Times Top 100 Companies Awards have been announced. These are based on those JSE listed companies that achieved the highest shareholder returns on a R10,000 investment over the past five years.

• Dr Christo Wiese was announced as the Sunday Times Top 100 Business Leader of the Year, and received the Lifetime Achiever Award - a first in the history of the Awards.
• Mark Stevens, MD and CEO of Fortress Income Fund accepted the Top Company Award. With an average annual compound return of 72.70%, it earned top spot in the rankings. It is the first company in the property sector to receive this award and even more impressive since the company only listed on the JSE in 2009.
• The Royal Companies are those that have been placed in the Top 20 positions of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies for three consecutive years. In 2015, these companies are Coronation Fund Managers, EOH Holdings, Mondi, Mr Price Group, and Naspers.
