Mall, top celebrities unite against child abuse

To celebrate their 1st birthday, Parkview Lifestyle Mall is supporting "Celebs Unite against Child Abuse".

Parkview Lifestyle Mall has announced the launch of "Celebs Unite against Child Abuse", a series of celebrity gatherings to help raise awareness for Abused Children. The first event will take place on 25 September 2010 starting from 10am onwards at one of Tshwane's most elegant new shopping destinations Parkview Lifestyle Mall.

The event features the song "SHINE" written by SA Band "Wasserfall" and sung by top SA personalities. Artists such as Kurt Darren, Steve Hofmeyer, Karen Zoid, Nianell, Ampie Du Preez, Wasserfall and even world famous cricketer AB de Villiers just to name a few will be recording their voices live in the Parkview Mall for public to come and see. The day will be filled with entertainment from our MC, Marlon Roelfze, TUKS Rag queen finalists, live DJ sets by AfriDANS and exciting prize giveaways. The first artist recording will take place at 10am and ends at 5pm. The recording station will be at the main entrance of the Parkview Mall. National press is invited to cover the event.

Have dinner with a celebrity and combat child abuse

The day is primarily a showcase of South-African Celebrities raising their voices against child abuse, in addition to being a unique opportunity for public to stand together and support the same cause while meeting their favourite celebrities. Funds of the event will go to registered charity fund, Help-net. NPO nr 011-265. Your contact person you can liaise with if you want to follow up on the funds is Jaco Meintjies - az.gro.tenpleh@mocaj.

As a build up, a celebrity dinner will be held at Fashion TV Parkview on 14 September. Selected celebrities will be seated at our dinner tables where the public and corporate companies can purchase seats. The tickets for the night include a three-course meal, and bottle of wine on each table. Other celebrities will throughout the night also work behind the bar. All their tips will go to charity. Other entertainment on the night will include: A Celebrity Fashion Show, MC's Marlon Roelfze and Altus Theart, Memorabilia auction, and an after party on the top floor of the venue after the Fashion Show. Charity representatives, selected VIP's, socialites, public and corporate sponsors are sure to enjoy this event. Different entertainment and celebrities will be featured at each gathering, ensuring a new presentation for every audience.
