World Agritech Innovation Summit 2019 names Aerobotics as one of 13 startups to watch out for

Aerobotics has been named one of 13 startups to watch in this years' World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit, which takes place between 19 and 20 March in San Francisco, California. "Having only recently launched our operations in the United States, it is exciting to receive recognition here as one of the top companies to watch at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit," said James Paterson, Aerobotics CEO. "We are looking forward to showcasing the technology we have built for tree and vine farmers in the United States and around the world."

Aerobotics will be featured as part of the Summit’s acclaimed TechHub.

The TechHub features companies with a dedicated and branded meeting point in the networking area, which promotes opportunities for connections with the investment and global agri community.

Aerobotics processes data from drone and satellite imagery through its proprietary artificial intelligence software to discover and analyse problems, pests and diseases affecting individual trees or vines on a farm.

In addition to health, the software also measures size, height and canopy volume. This type of highly accurate data empowers farmers to make better decisions in the field, so they can increase their yield and produce a more balanced crop.

As part of its participation at the Summit, Aerobotics will be exhibiting and presenting to members of the agriculture and technology community.

"We believe 2019 is the year of aerial imagery in the agriculture industry. We are doing everything we can to grow our presence and spread the word about how our technology is helping tree and vine farmers around the world," said Tim Willis, Aerobotics CFO and head of growth.
