Marketing & Media Africa

Africa on the Agenda

Africa is on the agenda in London this week at the Commonwealth Africa Summit 2018 #CAS2018. Issues to be discussed include climate change, youth political participation, the economy and security, trade and investment, entrepreneurship and job creation, economic development, energy and power, and other relevant issues in Africa.
The African Development Bank and its East and North African Governors recently met and have also issued a warning regarding the high youth unemployment that Africa faces in the future as its population increases. Africa is projected to have over 840 million youth by 2050. An estimated 13% of the world's population currently lives in Sub-Saharan Africa today. That may double by 2050 and four billion (or 36% of the world's population) could live in the region by 2100, according to the UN Population Division.

Have a great week!
