I am an academic,keen, dedicated and self-motivated young Agricultural economist holding BSc in Agriculture(Agricultural economics) degree and Master of Science in Agriculture (Agricultural Economics) degree from University of Limpopo.
I am a meticulous, a quick-learner, hardworking, passionate and an individual who thrives under pressure and consequently meet deadlines timeously. I am also a goal orientated individual who is always looking for a challenge to enhance her skills and knowledge. I worked at Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as an Agricultural Economist (internship) for period of 2 years. My key responsibilities included advising & training farmers on both economic and technical advisory related to agriculture. Development of business plans for farmers. Assisting farmers to have access to market and funding.Supporting and Developing small and medium farming enterprise and agricultural co-operatives. Macroeconomics report writing. Facilitating agro-processing activities within the province.Provision of Agricultural Statistical Service for Gauteng Province.Compiling specifications and memorandum for procurement.Writing projects close up reports. Writing minutes at the meetings and Capturing data on farmers and farming enterprises assisted by the department.
