Oasys Innovations delivers in SADC

Oasys Innovations' ties extend beyond the South African border into the SADC region, as well as to other countries on the African continent. During the course of the last few months Oasys Exhibitions has delivered a range of inventory and custom-designed stands to Bulawayo in Zimbabwe and Luanda in Angola.

At the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) held in Bulawayo at the end of April 2009, more than 400 exhibitors attended the exhibitions' fiftieth annual show. With the many political changes beginning to provide a sense of renewed hope for the country within the international community, the ZITF provides exhibitors with an opportunity to market their products to a country on the brink of massive change and significant potential growth.

Says Oasys Exhibitions Chief Operating Officer Carl Woodland: “This year Oasys provided and delivered 1650m² of exhibitions shell scheme to the venue in Bulawayo, as well as providing the same amount of carpeting for these stands. In addition we designed and built a stand for MTN, one of our long-standing clients, which went on to receive a Gold Medal Award during the exhibition. It is imperative to provide our clients with a strong offering and service, which is available across the continent.”

This competence extends to other countries throughout SADC. Says Woodland: “We have spent the last few months designing and preparing the German Pavilion, which will travel to Luanda, Angola via road this week. The German Pavilion will be on show at the Luanda International Trade Fair (FILDA) to be held in Angola from 12 to 16 July. The Oasys team has spent the last few weeks loading and preparing the containers and the shipment went through customs during this week. The stand is 540m² in size and is built using our 80 X 80 maxima structure and includes a full range of carpeting, furniture and electrical infrastructure.”

Woodland concludes: “The opportunities for South African companies extend well beyond our borders, as many local enterprises look to extend their market and influence throughout Africa. Oasys Innovations has the capability and experience to successfully partner our clients on this new and exciting leg of their journey.”
