    President unveils Benguela Media Library

    BENGUELA, ANGOLA: The Benguela Media Library with a capacity to attend 250 people simultaneously, was inaugurated Monday, by the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.

    This is the second of a network of 25 to be built until 2016, an initiative of the President of the Republic.

    The institution estimated about USD4million, has 500 network points, 150 computers, storage capacity of 13 lands bytes and 10 000 books of different areas of knowledge.

    It also has about 350 000 electronic contents and 5 000 educational and Games DVD.

    The construction of the media library began in 2011 and lasted 13 months. It has 30 employees, three of whom to do masters in library in Brazil.
