    2010 SA E-Commerce Awards nominees

This year Jump Shopping received over 3000 nominations during September 2010 for the annual South African E-Commerce Awards. These nominations were used to create a short list of 31 South African e-commerce websites; the list is available for the public to cast their votes for their favourite.

Voting by the public is open during October 2010 and the winners for the respective categories, including the title of Best E-Commerce Website, will be announced on 1 November 2010.

During the public voting phase Jump Shopping will also be evaluating all the nominated websites on the short list in detail looking at aspects including: website design, usability and navigation, customer care / communication, refund / returns policies, product range, pricing, payment methods, ordering process and quality of data. The final voting will be split 50/50 between the public votes and the votes from Jump Shopping, which will be based on this evaluation of all the short-listed websites.

The awards are open to all South African e-commerce websites based in South Africa and have been run for five years with this year's awards taking a slightly different format as Jump decided to conduct detailed evaluations of the websites individually to make sure that everyone gets a fair chance.
