Ronald Rink, General Manager of Puma South Africa, said: “This association underlines Puma's commitment to African Football and specifically to the growth and development of football in Namibia. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the NFA.”

Other African Puma-sponsored teams include the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal, Togo, Morocco, Mozambique, Angola and Botswana.

The Brave Warriors' first game in their new Puma kit will be an African Cup of Nations 2008 qualifier at home against the Democratic Republic of Congo on 16 June 2007.

The NFA was founded in 1990 and affiliated to FIFA and to CAF in 1992.
