International AIDS awareness job from Suburban Films

Miles Goodall of Suburban Films is shooting an international pro bono spot this month for TBWA\Paris. Organised through Hamster Publicité in Paris, representing Miles in France, the 60sec spot on behalf of AIDES (one of the largest European community-based organisations against HIV/AIDS) is aimed at raising awareness in Europe of the AIDS epidemic that is affecting the whole of Africa.

Due to be flighted across France initially, the commercial will be shot in Ladysmith, Kwazulu Natal at the end of October.

Because of the worthiness of this cause, Suburban Films is carrying all the costs of the production in lieu of sending Christmas cards this year. And all cast and crew are giving willingly of their time for free in support of the campaign.

"When we were offered the opportunity to work with TBWA on this project it was one of those jobs one jumps at the chance to be involved in," said Linda Notelovitz, Executive Producer at Suburban Films. "Not only is it a strong creative idea, but its helping to raise awareness and funds overseas for the plight of Africans."
